Abjad exists to close the gap between surviving persecution and building a life. We are a queer-led, community-driven platform providing culturally informed peer support, education, and resources for queer and trans people from Southwest Asian and North African communities in Toronto. We believe safety does not end at the border, and that everyone who arrives deserves a community that actually understands where they came from.
